12/21/98:
This is a frontal shot of a 1998 Lexus GS300. I shot this indoors under minimal light with a relatively straightforward shot. I did a little extra dodgine and burning in the darkroom to tone down a few unwanted highlights, but most of the details are a straight print. Using Ilford HP400+ along with a 28/3.5 lens.
4/26/98: A simple composition of a red rose and a string of black pearls resting on a dark cloth background. Some of the shadow/foreground detail is lost in the scan, but it otherwise is fairly accurate to the original print. I also burned in the cloth areas which gave the effect of a spotlight aimed at the rose. Again using my 100/2.8 at a few feet away. Used Ilford HP5+.
4/16/98:
A flower pic I shot again early in the morning. This one was a pain to get as the wind kept blowing the flower, causing me to have to re-focus (I was working with 100/2.8 at about 1.5ft). After a few shots I ended up with this one. I think it was shot on Ilford FP4+ but I'm not 100% sure.
